New version of Elcomsoft Blackberry Backup Explorer now available.
Elcomsoft Blackberry Backup Explorer has been updated. The improvements are:
- (Professional edition only) The program is now able to read Password Keeper data (logins and passwords) from backup -- of course, if the password is known.
- Added support for new data types: "Recent Contacts" and "Text Messages" (the latter does not contain messages, but only phone numbers and names). Also, "Browser Cache" (in addition to "Browser Data Cache) is now supported; not only .png, but also .ico files are now extracted.
- Reading BlackBerry Messenger contacts has been seriously improved (especially for very large number of records).
- 'Mobile2' field is now also exported from contacts (into Excel and Outlook).
- Seriosly improved speed on reading password-protected (encrypted) backup files.
- Added new option: "SMS threads highlight".
- Extended command line functionality.
- Some problems have been fixed: reading SMS messages in Italian language; reading contacts in UTF-8 encoding; saving multiple contacts that have photos attached.
